Freight Micro Semi Bold details

Freight Micro Semi Bold adds a firm, confident voice to the smallest optical size in the Freight Collection. Its added weight strengthens the compact Micro forms, holding up in captions, footnotes, data tables, and other space‑restricted settings where regular weights can fade. The color is darker and more assertive, yet it keeps the Dutch‑inspired warmth that runs through the family. Use it to create hierarchy within dense text or to anchor Micro Regular without overpowering it. It pairs naturally with Micro Bold for emphasis, and with Text or Sans styles when a project moves beyond fine print into broader typographic systems.

About the Freight Collection

This is a collection of integrated typefaces ready to add unique style to any design project. What Joshua Darden started as a serif family inspired by the warmth and pragmatism found in 18th-century Dutch typefaces became The Freight Collection and now ranges across multiple weights, widths, and optical sizes — from Big to Display, Text, Micro, Macro, Sans, Neo, and Round — all of which include companion italics. That’s 192 fonts that have the ability to be bold and daring just as easily as they can be quiet and unassuming.
